Turbocharger specialist ALANKO will be participating in Automechanika in Frankfurt from September 10th to 14th, 2024, for the eighth time. The ALANKO team will present its updated program with a focus on turbochargers. Experts from Sinzig, Rhineland-Palatinate, will showcase a program with even greater depth. Additionally, new digital product innovations such as the Oil Inspector and Motor Inspector, supported by AI, will be featured at the show. Those interested in learning more about ALANKO’s offerings can find the experts in Hall 3.0 at Stand A12.
Expanded and Enhanced Turbocharger Range
ALANKO's new product range, with a focus on turbochargers, is categorized into Light Vehicles, Heavy Duty, and Industrial. Light Vehicles include passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, Heavy Duty encompasses commercial vehicles as well as construction and agricultural machinery, and Industrial covers stationary engines, combined heat and power units, marine, and other applications. By concentrating exclusively on turbochargers and their peripherals, ALANKO is able to delve deeper into this promising product group. Thus, alongside turbochargers, ALANKO now offers CHRA - center housing rotating assemblies, actuators, mounting kits, and oil supply pipes.
The Power of Digital in the Oil Inspector and Motor Inspector
ALANKO had already introduced the Oil Inspector in 2023. Now, it comes with AI support. Trade fair visitors can try it out directly at Automechanika with a drop of oil to see the power of AI unfold on an oil test strip. The result is immediately convincing.
Another trade fair highlight is the Motor Inspector. Interested parties can inspect the new back pressure test device directly at the fair. ALANKO also relies on a digital solution here to make mechanics' workshop routines easier. The Motor Inspector tests without the need for water, hose, or cables to be carried into the driver’s cab. A Bluetooth transmission shows workshop professionals the sensor values on their smartphones.

The turbocharger alternative to OE brands
ALANKO, based in Sinzig, Rhineland-Palatinate, is an innovative spare parts manufacturer. The family business is run by three brothers and employs over 50 people. The key message: High-quality products at affordable prices.
The core business of ALANKO is turbochargers. Customers receive non-deposit products from in-house development as well as remanufactured turbochargers. This makes ALANKO the only manufacturer to offer both brand new and remanufactured turbochargers simultaneously!
Remarkably, the delivery package includes not only the necessary gaskets but also break-in lubrication, bolts, copper nuts, and even gloves.
Each year, the manufacturer develops up to 100 new turbochargers, achieving a depth of assortment that is hard to find with other manufacturers.
In 2023, ALANKO purchased its own remanufacturing plant in Bosnia, allowing it to handle reconditioning in-house once again. With decades of experience in spare parts remanufacturing, ALANKO is well-versed in these processes.
